Hey there fearless moderator, sorry to hear you are feeling down. Here are two things that i hope make you feel better.
I lost my father in 1994 and my mom in her grief cleaned out the house and got rid of everything my dad had cared about
. So i had nothing of my fathers to keep and remember him by. My father and i were both interested in lionel toy trains however my mom had gotten rid of everything so i had nothing. THis last chrismas my mom gave me a box filled with my old junk from the house, when i went thru it in jan i found a small surprise. This item was my fathers from his original train set, it isnt rare or valuable but it is priceless to me. Its asiple piece of a train set from the 1920's but i now have a piece of my dad on my mantle piece. Here is a picture, it looks great for being 90 years old and been in a box in the attic for god knows how long.
And if that doesnt cheer you up how about
a picture that makes me laugh every time i see it. My puppy thor being a clown.
Hope this helps you lady, god knows you have helped me more than i can count.
Hugs from Bill
