has anybody had good results with lamictal because i might be going on it in two  weeks and i am keeping my fin gers crossed that it works.I have been taking lexapro for about  a month and still don,t feel myself.My name is terry and any response would be appreciated!

Hi Terry and welcome to the board! I'm new to all this and have only been on Lamictal for a week. Every person I've talked to on here who has been on Lamictal long term reports very good things about it, I'm keeping my fingers crossed too!

All good here.  I was getting bad enough depressions to land me in the hospital.  I have been stable since getting up to the 100 mg dose.  Pretty cool.  I can actually take care of my toddler son now!

  Just wanted to say welcome, hope to hear more from you and i hope the lamictal works for you. Plus you have to give yourself a bit of time when working with these meds. Getting back to "normal" has taken many of us a long time. I myself am still trying to get back to normal, but in the mean time i am enjoying the peace i have.

   ANyway good to meet you and hope to hear more from you. This is a nice board here with a lot of great, friendly,  knowageable and compastionate people here.  However i am one of the worst spellers so you will have to bear with me on that issue. LOL LOL LOL

Welcome, Terry. I hope the Lamictal works for you. It's really made a huge difference in my life. I've been on it for years now.

I have a 4-year old daughter. How old is your son?
