 I have health insurance but it doesnt cover Mental health... I went to my p-doc this week and  she gave me samples of zyprexa. for 90 day.s   I take one everyday........... my pet pieve is that bipolars  need health insurance... because we take medicine  to survive

Do you have health insurance?

I have health insurance, and it covers mental health. Thank goodness for small favors! I am not in an HMO, so I don't need to get permission to see my doc or to see a counselor. This is, I think as it should be.

I have state health insurance for low income families. Thankfully pays everything. Whew! Don't know what I would do without it!!

I had health insurance until july first when my mom took me off her plan.. my dad was going to put me on his health insurance but it doesnt cover mental health and i can't use it in my state..

i don't know what to do now, i can't afford next month's seroquel.

voix - it's not an immediate fix, but check with your college and see what health service are available.  When I was attending, my psychiatrist and psychologist (every week!) were free.  I would have never gotten diagnosed without it.

Check with the county health and human services, state insurance for low income individuals.

I believe there is a way.  :)

Well I see my therapist for free but I really like my psychiatrist and i'd rather see him than the school provided one because that would be a once every two months deal and i really dislike that. :(
