Hi gang. I got a random hypomania last night. I managed 6 hours of sleep (yay me!) anyway. But this morning, I'm going back up again. Usually I wake up in a normal mood no matter what my mood state/cycle/swing is.
I have a few mania triggers for the day. I'm going to a bellydance class. I'm meeting a friend that triggers mania. And then I am PICKING UP MY DOG!
If past experience has taught me anything, once I get the dog settled in here, I will get a strong calm feeling of wellbeing. It's a really good feeling that I only get in hypomania.
So my plan for the day is to wait for that time and then journal and meditate. With some luck I might end up normal. :)
One thing that I miss about being ignorant about bp is that I used to thoroughly enjoy these days. Now I worry about what comes next and I try to prevent my elevated moods. Think about it - I try not to feel too good.
