Tricky sayings I ran into yesterday:
The heaviest thing you can carry is a grudge.
Your mind is like a parachute...it functions only when open.
The pursuit of happiness is the chase of a lifetime!
It is never too late to become what you might have been.
Life is too short to wake up with regrets.. So love
the people who treat you right.. Forget about the
ones who don't.
One thing you can give and still keep....is your word.
You lie the loudest when you lie to yourself.
'Be kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.'
A sharp tongue can cut your own throat.
If you want your dreams to come true, you mustn't oversleep.
Of all the things you wear, your expression is the most important.
The best vitamin for making friends..... B1.
The happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts.
So, since my new thing is getting dressed and going somewhere everyday, went to Target yesterday and had a close call. Young woman seriously dissed me when I asked her if she would let me go by her. Said why should she. Had something of an out of body experience as I watched myself back up the cart and then proceed to blast by. She deliberately stepped back so I could not pass. In that split second I came close to running her down I don't know what stopped me. I relented, but felt a sense of shame for my behavior for the rest of the afternoon. I hoped she had jinxed her perusal of ladies clearance.
All it would have taken was one step sideways on her part. Maybe she was setting me up for a squabble.
I experienced feelings of wanting to deliver violence. That never happened to me before.
It was scary and felt real bad. So, I now hate Target, couldn't find what they had in the GD ad anyway.
