melwake,
Having a daily routine is good to people with BP, it keeps us moving. Especially for those of us who cannot work at the moment. My therapist suggested a calendar of my daily tasks. For example, I would wash laundry every Wednesday and I try to keep true to the schedule as much as possible. I would vacuum on Tuesdays, I would go to the grocery store on Thursdays.
Those are examples of how you can break up the things that need to be done and you can check them off as you get them done every week. Having a schedule really helps me to stay focused on what things I need to get done. This way I can see progress over time and don't have to feel overwhelmed with getting everything done at the same time. Breaking things down really helps.
I hope this helps.
