Hey guys,
We didn't get the best news yesterday about my Mom's cancer. They have detected a small spot on her liver although they are saying they are not positive of what it is. The tumor in her lung shrunk a lot, you almost can't even see it and it was the size of her fist before the chemo and radiation. However, the tumor in her hip is still there as well.
They gave us hope in saying months ago after chemo and radiation they would look at doing surgeries on her hip and on her lung, but as of yesterday they don't want to do that any longer.
I know this is stage IV cancer, but I've wanted a miracle :( We are so scared.
I hadn't seen this post sooner or I would responded before now. I can only imagine what you are going through.
And I can say that because in 2005 I was diagnosed with stage 3C ovarian cancer, I'm sure it was hard on my family.
After 2 years of chemo I've been cancer free for almost 3 years. I know of women who had stage 4 ovarian cancer
and are still around, so sometimes miracles do happen. Make every day count.
