anyone else live with bi-polar affective

disorder t1 who has a mixed mood state and rapid

cycles? it is hell. looking for support. it is killing

me and my life!!!!! can't sit, so i clean, study,

then i am all over the place, crash, trip out,

stay up all night, 1000's of thoughts going

through my head. fatique but i push. get angry,

scream, cry, manic laughter. this is all apart of

my day. get depressed, can't focus, can't anything.

i am trying, but this is more than trying darn it!!!!

see the shrink tomorrow, friday 12.30. it is 9.30pm

here can't take my meds as i am indifferent

about pulling an all nighter or not. aaarrrggghhh.

 

a lot has been going on, continue to push i must.

Yes, and ITA it is hellish. Take your meds. Call your Dr.!!! And then try to calm yourself.

Go to a dark room. 100% pitch black. Lie down. Stay there. "Dark therapy" does work.

thx 2 you sureshot and thx 2 you tortoise11. with healing compassion, jamie. new dx, rapid cycling bi-polar disorder. was bi-polar affective disorder t1. shrink has changed it. makes sense as it is what i am going through. the depressive component has been recognised by him as well, hence the new dx. cheers. thx for listening. jamie

Well Jamie, at least you know with new DX.  Personally I think rapid cycling is the worst.  Bipolar meds caused this reaction in me, had never had that before and it is hellish.  Probably with me it was bad react to meds, I am weird, they always made me worse but I remember those days.

Did your Dr. discuss changing your meds?  I seems to me from your post, that lat time you had a med adjust - it never really suited you, perhaps that is what spurred the rapid cycling?

Anyway, always here for you!  I hope you feel better very very soon.
