Maturity beyond your years my girl! You have such a great handle on your illnesses and when you lapse as we all do, you pull it in so admirable. Engaged to a lovely man, a mum of a school aged child and work in your fiance's vet surgery. I admire your insight and maturity sooo much!!! And you are only 27! Wow! You go girl!
Talking about
soulful singers I'm really enjoying Adele's Rolling in the Deep atm http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qb-7jByiRUY . It's the best break up song in a long time!

I love, love that song by Adele. Thanks for reminding me to listen. :)
Stupid me crying over this, listening to "I'm not good" by Amy Winehouse and thinking - that could have been me. I could be dead. But I'm not. Why me? Why her? *sigh*
Insight and "maturity" come from 20 years of living with this stuff. *sigh* But thank you for your kind words. :)

I too have taken it hard about
Amy's passing so young. There for go I. Why someone so young with so much to offer why not me instead. Alcohol addiction is so powerful. I've been an alcoholic since I was a teen in highschool but it took years to admit it. May her passing be a message to all of us that this is serious business so her life wasn't in vain. I pray for all of us still using or in denail that we have a problem.

Also sad is that her death is attributed to alcohol withdrawal. (According to her family).
Like she finally starts to move forward and make things right and THAT kills her. WOW. *So encouraging (sarcasm)*.
