what should I do with my Abilify?

I was taking abilify for bipoloar but now stopped, these pills are super expensive, is there any legal way to sell them or something? I have quite a few left over. Or am I just stuck throwing out over $1000 worth of meds?

Call poison control and find out what to do with them. You can't sell them or even legally give them to anybody. You can also contact the pharmacy and see what to do about it.

Why did you stop the abilify? Was it not helping you?

Why can't you sell them? I don't get it. Thats kind of awkward. People are in need of medicine. So in turn they should get them free. Why suffer?

i got freaked out our of the side effects, I started to shake. It happens to some. I would prefer to help someone in need as long as it was not illegible. e-mail me if you have any suggestions,

yeah, there is such a waste of medications when so many people can't afford them. it is such a shame... but what can we do hey?? :(

if they were mine I'd give them away insted of profiting off of some other sick person. If the rest of the country was generous like me we'd have less corruption and greed. Everybody's trying to make a buck...when one shares they get a return three fold. then there is no want.

Luckily my pdoc gave me a trial 7-day pack of the Abilify and I discovered it gave me terrible side effects before I went to the pharmacy for a full month of pills.

PS I lasted about 2 days on the Abilify before I had to tell my doctor I refuse to take it, I missed a day and a half of work from exhaustion and vomiting :(

      Karen is correct, in that it is illegal to even give the meds to anyone. If by chance you did, and that person had a bad reaction to them, and died....you would be responsible.

     There are several ways to discard med's that are no longer needed, and I will be happy to post them if you wish.
