TMI ??

I a problem that happens occasionally. It is embarrassing, hopefully not TMI (Too much information)

My "bladders full" signal doesn't always seem to work. Example: Today, I went into the dressing room to try on some clothes and all of a sudden had to pee. Couldn't hold no matter what I did. I asked the clerk if they had a bathroom, she told me there was one several stores down. I told her "honey, I've got a bladder issue, I can't make it that far." She took me to the staff bathroom, (me piddling the whole way). What a mess!!!!!

I have told my dr she says it's an 'anxious bladder' due to the anxiety I deal with on a daily basis. She doesn't really want to put my on bladder control med, because of the other meds I am on.

So I guess my choices are: ummmmm adult diapers? Is that really a choice?

I'm sorry hun. And thankful it's not something I've dealt with yet. Your Dr. should check and make sure it isn't a side effect of medication. And I think a problem with so much anxiety and embarassment needs immediate treatment. You shouldn't have to add THIS onto the things you are already dealing with anxiety about.

Maybe pads or depends will relieve your mind until you can convince your Dr. to help. You can always go to a specialist. It makes me angry that a Dr. is telling you that an OBVIOUSLY PHYSICAL HEALTH PROBLEM is "all in your head".
