$200. is not a lot of money to pay for a quality bred puppy.
I paid a heck of a lot more for my daughter's little Shihtzu, and that little cutie was a wonderful companion and friend to my daughter.
Next time, tell him you're thinking about
buying a Clydesdale--then go ahead and get the dog! (Just kidding)
I'd buy the puppy if you feel that it's something that will help you. Keep going to counseling if it's helping him.
