My mood and meds are settling down and I'm feeling fairly normal today.

My fiance and I are (still) stripping and refinishing kitchen cabinets.  We started stripping the cabinet frames today.  I stripped and almost finished sanding the lower cabinets.  My fiance is working on stripping the upper cabinets now.

Everything in the house is out-of-sorts, not able to cook now either.  I'm tracking my mood to try to catch problems before they get too bad.

  Hey there. Im getting over a pneunomia scare, i was just on the brink of possibly getting it. You cant belive how sick i have been this week, uggh.

  On the good side, all that hard work paid off. I have completely caught up on all my bills. After the divorce last year i was behind on my mortgage. I just couldnt get caught up. But now i am fully caught up on each and every bill. YAY  It was a long hard slog but in the end worth it. .

  So now i am hoping to get a full nights sleep without waking myself up from coughing. Plus the decognestion meds are causign my heart to race, but the altertinitive is having so much sinus pain i cant function.

But i am not taking any tonight, hopefully i can finally get some sleep.

   Otherwise than that, life is good. Its good feeling stable more days then naught.

I'm going on a coffee date and then going to "family" dinner, after I pick my son up from his dad's. Getting packed for my holiday.

We drove almost 4 hr round trip to shop at Home Depot and Menards. Long shopping - our kitchen remodel project keeps getting bigger. *sigh* It needs the work and I'll be happy when it is done.

Now it's the Super Bowl. :)

Okay it's not the weekend anymore but...
I just wanted to share.

Today was the first day in about two years where I could plan my day and follow through on those plans in a disciplined way.

I usually don't have the mental capacity to focus, energy or feel in too much emotional pain to concentrate.

I planned and organised and packed for my trip for 2 hours.

Then I planned and organised and prepared for my court case on Thursday for two hours.

Then I cleaned, tidied and organised paperwork for two hours. I know I am doing an awful lot and I have to be very careful. That is why I am taking breaks and being gentle on myself as well.

The next two hours is me sorting out my financial affairs.

Then I'm knocking off for the day.

My son is in a feral mood and I'm just letting him work it through.... he is like a bear with a sore head, but is not doing anything he is meant to be doing on a school day.... ggggrrr, yes, mummy bear ggrrrr.

Temps close to 100oF everyone cranky.

But I am happy to feel well - sorry to bang on about it... I just love feeling well.... I spose we all do... and I hope others are having the experience or soon will. x

Wow, LW! That is AWESOME! Keep on talking about feeling well. It's encouraging for everyone to see what can happen when medications and lifestyle changes WORK to control symptoms.

I fear that I'm a bit hypomanic but I am doing what I can not to overdo it. I took 25mg Seroquel and had a sleep on the couch so I didn't overdo things. There is so much that I identify that needs doing when I am unwell. I am merely wading my way through catching up on the basics, but my body doesn't know that. I need to space it over a week, not put it all on the same day. I still had energy but I didn't work on some financial stuff and put them on tomorrows agenda, just so I was being sensible. Hypomania needs to be controlled as much as depression and I'm really trying to do that.
