Hi Illmissucat! I can totally identify with you. That is my experience every month too. PMS IS TERRIBLE! I have been surfing the net searching for answers. Firstly, regular aerobic exercise helps for bloating and cramps. The right diet is also essential. Frequent small, high carb meals improve mood by elevating serotonin levels in the brain. Eat vegs and wholegrains too. AVOID cookieS, CANDY, ALCOHOL, CHOCOLATE, SUGAR AND EXCESS FAT!! I read that calcium, magnesium, zinc and vit e also help. Evening primrose, flaxseed, chamomile, dandelion leaf and St. Johns wort also help a lot. If none of the above help and your symptons persist see your doc as soon as you can. Apparently Prozac and Zoloft are excellent for pms. I dont know if you are bp 1 or bp 2 so please speak to your doc first before using any of the meds, vitamins or herbs mentioned. I hope this info can help you in someway. I know how you feel. Its difficult enough having to cope with bipolar mania etc. Let us know how you do. Regards!
