I just got back from my psychiatrist and am happy to report that she is very pleased with my progress on the adjusted meds. I actually feel very good with periods inbetween where I feel close to normal. I only have to see her in 2 months again. I am staying on 400 mg seroquel xr but my epilim cr has been reduced to half which is 300 mg. I just have to work on getting my weight down. That's it for now. Keep well!

That's great. Enjoy the good feelings, its totally all right to enjoy hypo mania.
But stay on top of it, just in case you get too happy. Lol lol

Good for you! Good luck on the weight, that is what I am working on also.

It sounds great. It's a shame you only get your meds reviewed 6 times a year. My pdoc reckons that bipolar need weekly sessions. I only go fortnightly because it is so far to go to see her.

Hi Living well! I can actually see my p-doc as often as I need to. The only reason that she said my next appointment is in 2 months is because I am doing well on my adjusted meds. She did however say that I should call her immediately if any drastic changes should occur. I am very blessed to have such a wonderful p-doc and an excellent medical aid.

Hi everybody! Just checking in to say I am feeling balanced out again this morning after being very hypomanic for 4 days. But I still feel good. I also had an appointment with my new psychologist yesterday which went very well. I feel good because he understands me and I like his approach to my challenges. I know he'll be able to help me. Fortunately for me he lives very close to me so I can walk to my appointments. Good exercise! My next app is next Friday. Have a good weekend everyone!
