Hello hard2cope,
Welcome to the forum
!
I'm sorry for all that you've been through and your current struggles. Please note that we are not allowed to discuss marijuana on the forum. Only the discussion of medical marijuana is allowed as long as discussions have a medical focus. However, I would like to tell you that you should try to stop as it is not helpful to your depression or Bipolar.
I think you should visit a doctor and let them evaluate you. A psychiatrist will be able to say if you are bipolar. Please do not be afraid of the meds. Different meds work different for everyone. All meds take some time to work. They do have side effects but you may have to try different ones and different dosages until you find the right one.
Therapy is also helpful for bipolar. Both meds and therapy work together. I would recommend therapy for you. Therapy has helped me. I learned many coping techniques that are helpful to me. I think it would help you as well. Please look into this.
Please feel free to check out our resources area:

I hope things will get better for you.
Take Care
