Hello all,
Thankful I found this site.
I'm bipolar dx 2004...currently taking 150ms zoloft, 30 mg doxepin,8mg trilifon, 100 mg lamictal30mg zyprexa.

I titrated upward double on zoloft 3 wks ago...the last 2 wks I've had painful anxiety and panic attacks, and the feeling of an entity entering my mouth...is this normal? Am I just reacting poorly to my meds?
Kava helps a little..don't want to go on benzos. Doc appt in two weeks.

Welcome to the forum! I'm glad you joined :-).

How long have you been taking the Zoloft? Sometimes meds take some time to work and sometimes we have to try different meds and dosages before we get them right. This could be a side effect from the meds. Some of the side effects of Zoloft include mood or behavior changes, anxiety, panic attacks. Please ensure that you inform your doctor about these attacks that you are experiencing.

Thank you...I've only been on the 150mg for 3 weeks, titrated up from 100mg. Does it also cause increase in depression? Thanks for being there

Zoloft is an antidepressant, but meds don't work the same for everyone. I hope the increase will help you. I hope the increase is not causing these symptoms. Did you experience the attacks before the incrase?

If you don't feel any better, kindly ensure that you inform your doc.

It just seems like with each increase the side effects get worse. My pdoc appt is 4/21 and def gonna tell her. Is this normal to be so cycling?

I'm sorry it gets worst with each increase. You should definitely inform your doctor. Maybe he can recommend a change in meds.
