Wife is bipolar and has been committed a second time

Hi new to this.
1st time my wife was. Committed was 2 years ago. Hyper manic episodes. She was court ordered to treatment for one year. During this time we had marriage counseling. Time went on thing seemed to be heading in the right direction. She stopped meds. Stopped counseling. Then 3 months ago manic signs re appear. She got physical with one of our kids and I asked her to leave. This is when it got really bad. She had been lying to me about using pot and her drinking got worse.(black outs). When she was gone she never once called to check on the kids. That was not like her, she's the mama bear type. She filed a restraining order against me. Because she was in no shape to have sole custody of our children I filed back. She said we were divorced. No documents were ever filed. She got paranoid and had her phone blocked. She became hyper sexual. Spent 10k in six days. She is now safe in you the hospital again. She still believes we are divorced. I don't want one, I love her. Will she come out of this manic state. I don't know what to believe. Does she know what she is doing?

Well the hospital is letting her out. She no longer a threat to her self or others. This is a good thing right? She still is delusional. But on meds. How does this work. Is she able to fall back into manic state?
