Hello, my name is Laura, 26, diagnosed last year- just decided to be medication compliant with a combination of new medications versus what I was taking the last time I took meds regularly (September). Bipolar II and history of thoughts. Just found this site, hoping it helps.

Hi Laura, welcome. I'm new here myself. I take it you're a fan of "Black Box" on TV? I have enjoyed it. My bipolar meds are the only ones I've ever been compliant with. I have Bipolar I and PTSD. Like you, I hope this site will be helpful. It's been difficult to find a good support group.

Laura, sometimes meds does take some time to work. Maybe the new meds need some more time or a dosage adjustment? If not, talk to you doc and let them know it's not working.
