I tried to hold it in and was doing really well, but I finally broke down and the tears just flowed and flowed. I guess even the strong ones break every once in a while. I think I am still going to struggle, because I feel overwhelmed by everything going on.

L&C, I am sorry to hear you broke down. Sometimes, things are so overwhelming, we just need to let it out. Cry, and let it out. Crying can help us feel a bit better sometimes.

I have experienced this before. I always hold it in until it too much. I also use some coping techniques such mindfulness. Breathing and distractions such as watching movies, reading a book helps me at times. Have you ever tried writing how you're feeling? Journaling helps. When I write how I feel, I tend to feel better sometimes.

Thank you for responding to my post....I am usually the one that has to be so strong for everyone and hold the family together. I hate to cry in front of my daughter cause I know sometimes she doesn't understand. I think the only thing that has kept me from going off the deep end (so to say) is that I journal alot. I actually found an app that I can use on my computer so that makes it ten times easier. I am doing better today I think I just have to have that break down point to let it all out and get back on track

Luv the journal idea, I'm a writer too..it feels like when it's on paper it's 'out of my head'..
I also end up on Pinterest looking for quotes, and find myself saying "yep, that's me, that's me too"..
I've got to have a good cry here and there too, and remind myself that I can't be everything to everyone, and I'm not SuperWoman, and if I was, the capes got to come off sometime to go thru the wash~ hope you're doing well (:

L&W, I'm glad journaling helps. I too journal on my laptop. I downloaded a diary. There's a password, so only I can access it. Sometimes, we need some 'me time', whether it's just to cry and let it out. I'm glad you're feeling better. Please know that we are always here for you.

carolina I enjoy looking for quotes and reading them online. Sometimes I post nice and inspirational ones here.
