Hello FR,
Welcome to the Bipolar forum!
I am sorry to hear what you are currently going through. Did you recently come off the Seroquel?
Insomnia is symptoms of Seroquel withdrawal. It is also recommended that Seroquel should not be stopped abruptly. You can reduce Seroquel withdrawal symptoms by slowly tapering off of this medication.
Congratulations of your promotion
!
I am sorry that your work load and hours have increased. I work in a similar job environment (administrative and some other things as well). Do you think the increase in hours are contributing to how you currently feel? If it possible for you to take some time off, maybe a few days to retreat?
Meditation can help with negative thoughts. Do you practice meditation?
When you feel yourself having these thoughts with images of violence towards anyone, try to shift your thought focus. Distract yourself by thinking about
something else. The mind wanders around looking for new things to focus on, hopefully leaving you in peace.
Keep a record of how you have been feeling lately. When you visit your doc, let them know how you have been feeling lately and how you're unable to sleep. They will recommend whether you should go back on the Seroquel or try something else.
I hope your app goes well on Tue. Please let us know how it goes and how you are feeling.
