I've noticed a sudden change in my mood since the weekend. I'm feeling empty, lonely, sad and I am very quiet. There's no apparent reason for this. I had been doing well and feeling so good for a long time now. I hope my mood will change back to happy real soon. I guess that's what Bipolar is all about
. Up's and sudden downs. Need encouragement.

Hi Charmy,
Didn't see you post for a while and was wondering about
you...
I am sorry to hear how things have been. Bipolar does cause our mood to fluctuate and cycle. Do you know what may have triggered this feeling? Please remember that we are here for you.
Try doing something that you liked or you enjoy when you're feeling happy. I know it may seem tedious to do it since you're feeling 'empty', but trying it may help you feel better.
Journaling helps me. You can write down your feelings. When I write my feelings, I feel a bit better afterwards.
Please know that you will get back the happy feeling you recently experienced.
Hang in there. We are here for you.
*Hugs*

Hi User Anonymous! No, I don't know of anything that could have triggered these feelings. It was all so sudden. I agree, journalling really does help me a lot too. I will be doing that again for sure. I volunteerd at my church office yesterday and today and it made me feel slightly better. I appreciate you replying. Your advice is always very helpful. Thanks for caring and hugs to you too.

no harm in trying. new experiences are good for us. something fresh for the mind / soul and stuff. good on ya. i appreciate people who are actively proactive to try new stuff. me, i know this sounds different being a bloke, but i always wanted to learn how to knit. just seems rythmic and stuff, and you are actually making something. blokes do knit-but not a lot of them, lol!!! hoping this has brought on a smile. i got to keep my shell warm in winter.

Hey HT so glad you could just get out of the house for a while and take a walk. That always does one a lot of good. Gets your head clean and brings back the positivity. Good that you had some company last night. Not nice to be alone especially when you not feeling so bright. Anyway, you must have an awesome time with your mom tomorrow and enjoy being with your pom too. I can imagine how you must miss her. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Good speaking to you. Talk to you soon again.

Volunteering is good. It also helps you feel good about
yourself. Glad it helped you feel a bit better.
Jamie: Have a good visit with your mum.

Thought I'd let you all know that I decided to treat myself today. Went and had my hair done. Nice and blonde and cut short. It looks beautiful and I feel good about
myself. My mood is hypomanic at the moment. Enjoying my day in the sunshine. Definitely feeling much better!
