Hi everyone, I was diagnosed Bipolar in '03, then told I wasn't after being stable for awhile, and now back to a bipolar dx after some craziness that made it pretty obvious. I'm now on 4 meds and relatively stable, but now my chronic migraines (which had subsided) are acting up again. I'm wondering if my meds are aggravating them.
I'm very scared to change my psych meds, but I'm also scared to add an additional med to prevent the migraines. I mean, how many brain meds can one person take! :(
My pdoc did mention a cheek swab that is now available to give them insight into which meds would work best on me if we have to switch my psych meds, so it wouldn't be such a long process to get it right again. Anyone heard of this? Or have any other input?
I see my neurologist tomorrow and my pdoc in a week. I'm just sick of being sick...
