Hi, my name is jay, and I was diagnosed with bipolar1 over 3 yrs. Ago. With a trifecta of meds. Resperidone depacote2k mg. And serequel. Now 1 day ago after 2yrs. Of white knuckling it til all Bp symptoms are peaked beyond control. Now dr. Prescribed me lamictol Zoloft & ability. My wife and me r crossing fingers for my home sanity this will help a great deal. Paranoia, anxiety, manias, low suicidal depression , blank spots from moment to moment, and 0-60 with irrational aggretion for no ryme or reason. Jst. Want balance not chaos.

Hello Jay,
As you now on healing path and diagnosed ,its better for you and your wife as can manage condition by support ,medications and knowledge.

Keeping sanity is biggest challenge and chaotic life will never help.

stability is needed and will help manage condition,keep in touch with your psy as far as feelings are concerned as they can adjust dosage and medications.

Welcome to the forum!

I hope the new combinations of meds will work for you. I'm glad your wife is by your side and you have her support.

Monitor how you're feeling with the meds. It can take a couple of weeks to work. If you don't feel any change, talk to your doc. Maybe they can adjust the dosage or recommend a different combination.

Please also remember to use coping techniques to help balance your moods. Keeping a journal helps me. I write down my feelings to get it out.
