I'm pretty new at this. Well for starters, I met my boyfriend a few months ago. After a couple days of getting to know him i noticed he wasn't the same person day to day. He would have these horrible mood swings and paranoia. At first, it was just a couple of arguments here and there.. then it started to get physical. I'm really trying to support him by being there but I don't
openly talk about
this to my friends.

Don't put up with physical abuse. I would get out of that relationship.
I believe in the resource thread, there are links to having loved ones with bipolar disorder.
But if you are experiencing physical abuse or any abuse, you should think twice about
the relationship. There is no excuse for that.
Hugs, Karen...

NO excuse for physical abuse, get out while you can please. Having lived with an abusive ex husband for 10 years I can tell you that it doesn't ever stop, no matter how sorry he is or how much he might cry, there is always another time. You've only been with him for a short time, take this opportunity and leave now, please.

so hard to tell whom they really are... dont think they realize themselves. They turn into someone you wish you never knew !!. In my case anyways..... b safe and analytical, best advice ..stay away before you are deep into having to deal with it. GOD bless.

My fiance has been abusive at least 5 to 10 times. Some extremely scary where I feared what he intended to do to me. And he's always verbally abusive as well. Yesterday we had a huge fight that might have been our last. I love him so much. I wish I could help him.
