Weekend Check In Thread!

Friday... It's the first weekend in March.

How did everyone spend their past week? What did you all do? How is the weather by you all? My sister told me they called a state of emergency where she lives due to ice.
Hope everyone is safe and staying warm.

I had a very frustrating day today. I bought 2 pairs of shoes last week. The store said I could try them for a week, as long as I wore them inside, which I did.

When I tried to return them today, they would only take back 1 pair, saying the others had "marks" on them (not true). I was furious as they had outright lied to me about their return policy.

However, I managed to control myself with them. If I had not, my mental stability would have been at great risk because I'm not on a mood stabilizer. I'll try to sell the shoes - at a loss of course - but I thought it's better to lose some money than lose my mind!

AngelLisa, glad you're not affected by any bad weather. I've never experienced snow but I would like to one day.

Hi Railey, happy to see you posting again. I'm sorry about the shoes. It sucks that you couldn't return it. Maybe you can try selling it to someone you know? This way you may not lose much. Or you can try selling them on ebay or amazon.

We had no water today so I could not wash my car. I spent it doing stuff for work. Heading to get some more stuff for work done while listening to some music. As HT would say, I'm playing my tunes .
No plans for tomorrow. Just the usual-wash clothes, iron, etc.
