I got to see my best friend that I've had since 6th grade. I thought it would be great but it was like she didn't have much to say. She posts tons of stuff on Facebook, but since I have Bipolar I and certain social media triggers me (not the good way). Her daughter was getting her first tattoo since she turned 18. My daughter was begging for one but she's only 16. My friend was treating her like she can't have those earges. My daughter has grown alot in the past 4 months. I guess I wasn't in the right frame of mind for the visit. Well maybe my next entry will be better.

Hey Lis,
I"m sorry the visit didn't go as expected. Maybe you wasn't up to it, or maybe she wasn't up to it since she didn't say much, or she was not feeling well.
How long has it been since you both saw each other? Maybe the time gap caused it to be like this?
I hope the next visit from her will be okay. If you feel like it, you can call her to ensure everything was okay.

UA,
Well I feel a little bit better when I woke up this morning. She posted pics of us on Instagram and put "me and my best friend since 6th grade". That made me smile. I think I might go print that and then hang it somewhere in my house. It was awhile since we last saw each other. Plus she's be having a tough time because she has MS. It really take it out on her and she's only 36. She can't come drive to see me because she can't be in a car that long. So I usually go see her. It's only a 45 minute drive so it's not to bad. Thank you for responding back to me. This was my first time doing this and I think I like it.

I think so. I need to plan another visit when the kids aren't around. Maybe we can do something fun outside when it gets nice outside.
