Things have been getting better. Yesterday my daughter got her schedule for her 1st job. She starts this Friday. She's so excited. She had a good day at school yesterday and didn't have any problems with anyone at school or social media. Thank goodness!

The weather lifted today and didn't look like it was going to rain, but it's pretty windy out. I got up around 9 and got my kayak and things ready and went out to the lake. It was really windy out there and it was really choppy. In some areas it looked to have 1' waves. I stayed close to the shore but it was a workout. I only stayed out for an hour. I was a little wet but I enjoyed it none the less.

Tomorrow I have to do my checkbook, go grocery shopping, watch my son in track and then go see my daughters boyfriend play baseball. It's going to be a very busy day tomorrow.

I also started on my project for the fair. I should have it done by this weekend. That way it's all done and out of the way by the time it's September. I'm hoping to get 1st for the 5th year in a row!!

Every year I do something for the fair. I tat. It's like crocheting with fine thread but with a needle. If you want an idea to look at just looking up tatting on google and see the images. Then you can see what it is that I make. First year I made a variegated with Swarvarski crystals bracelet, the second one was a necklace that was made from metallic colors that were black, gold, teal & silver, the third one was another bracelet that was green and had a ribbon going through the middle of it and the last one was an brown ornament with the lace on top. I won all 4 years in a row. I'm hoping this year will by my fifth. This year is going to be a bracelet with silver thread. When it's done it looks like a real bracelet not thread. I wish I could post a picture for you to see because it looks amazing!

I'm glad you got to see what tatting is. It's a very beautiful craft and does take some patience but I love the end results. I do lots of crafts. I go through a phase where I'm into one certain one. I like to sew, quilting, knitting, crocheting, tatting, ornaments and sometimes when I'm around little kids I make friendship bracelets with them. So much fun.
