Got a phone call from the police. My estranged claims I am tracking her. I did sent a text ...to the second phone number she sent me. However I am not stalking her but thanks to her paranoid actions I know that she us in Chch. I will not send anymore texts. I have been discussinwhat to do. I have decided if I alert mental health about my concerns...that's all I can do. Supporting families has a standard procedure. I asked that they raise my concerns and that is occurring today. They will put zelda and the car on a what list and if she comes into contact...she will get assessed. If she is well... or otherwise. My conscious us not clear.

u can't do anymore mate. it is hard, i know, been dealing with similar for 3 yrs, however stepping away is hard, but for your sanity you must. your mind will become clearer when you let go and you will realise the amount of work you have done. for this you should feel good. i am saying this to you as you are a warrior and battled hard.

Africa99, the best things you can do now if focus on you.
You are a wonderful person for caring about your estranged wife. However, sometimes, we have to learn to take care of ourselves and move on.

I have been busy. My estranged is texting again and said I can call her. At moment I am only tecting. We got roof doubled screwed and new spouting up. A big job as gutter is 7m off ground....now we need rain to test spouting.


My Dr said my estranged will be back when renovations are completed....he has been her doctor off and on.

My estranged rang me. She wants to buy a small house. For 90 % of the call I thought she was well. Although she accused me of been an abuser who uses mental health as a weapon against her. I have never done that but the accusal hurt. I did not recognise her state until I mentioned something about her support people. She then lost it and started yelling said she has new support people. I realised she could hurt someone. So I have requested a police person check and hopefully she will get angry and the police will realise something is wrong. I will leave it to the police

classic manipulation. sadly you are enabling the estranged partner,
but don't know it. i will say no more. move on before you become
a victim.

I do not understand how she has manipulate me. I said no to her buying a house now and I am aware that she manipulates me but I did not give her what she wanted. I have offered her a place to stay the house I am fixing... but I have sleep out so only fair. I talked to the NZ Police to get her state assessed if they find her. GETTING her help is a the right think to do...

Hi Africa99,

One must be willing to accept help. Getting her help is the right thing to do. However, if she is not willing to accept and get help, there is not much anyone can do.

Again, I would suggest you focus on yourself. Use this time to take care of yourself. Sometimes letting go is the best option for us, although it may be hard.

I have got a new job... 6 month fixed term... we go permanent if restructuring not too drastic
