Bipolar life change and not sure what to do

Hi. Welcome.
Well.....tis time to get going. Soz about ya situation...i was homeless for 2 n half yrs....i learnt much and in tolerance and i reckon you too.

It is all about doing something. Not sure about the diagnosis...need something more definitive....know it...a name for it...treat it.

Bi polar sisorders are very complex...finding forms of supports is key. Actually you have shown great insight and peoactivity to reach out...

I hope things settle for ya. Isend many healung thoughts. What ya going thru i have gone thru.....with being proactive with self care rhings can and do change.

Are they're any homeless shelters in your area? Salvation Army will take you in, I've heard.

Covenant House in New York City, Atlanta and some other larger cities. That may be just for teens, but I would certainly check.

A big step would be to get diagnosed as bi-polar and get on the needed medicine. Can a hospital emergency room tell you where some of the free clinics are? I would suggest going to the emergency room. They'll probably have a psychiatrist on call who can help you.

If you can be positive in some of your lower moments it might help you meet your next goal.

From "Homeless to Harvard" was a TV movie about this teenage girl who lived from apartment to apartment in New York City and was so smart she was admitted to Harvard. She made it and you can, too.

Maybe you can get some free mental health help. That could get you started. You need a starting point. Talk to churches, clinics etc. Hospital is a good idea. You can turn this around. And we are here for you.
