Abilify- This is a new drug and I was wondering how it is?

Hi Everyone,

I am from the UC forum, but had a question about this new drug called

Abilify? My sister was put on it today for her Bipolar. Can anyone tell

me if they have had any side effects from it? Or feel good on this new

drug.

She'd really appriciate the feedback.

Hi Sunshine
I was on it for a few months, I did very well at first and then began to have some side effects. Nothing terrible, just very restless and I developed panic attacks. I'm prone to those anyway so that may have just been a coincidence.
Other than the side effects, I was very pleased with this medication. If they could give me something to counteract the restlessness, I'd be willing to give it another go.
It did make me very sleepy for the first few days I was on it, but that passed quickly.
I think its a good drug all in all, and have heard alot of people that were very pleased with the results.

Hi Ellie,
Thanks so much for email. I told my sister and she is more at ease with it.
I told her to read up on it also. But to hear it from someone who's been on it
helps a lot.
