Checking In

I didn't think anyone noticed my absence.  I'm doing okay in some ways, but worse in others.  I have also been a lot busier than usual.  I was out of town over the weeknd and had no computer access.  Then I heard that my grandma passed away, I was close to her and it tore me apart.  I was out of it for a few more days.  Then I started school again after 9 months break and that took the rest of my time away.  I am feeling much better than I thought, I am hanging in there.  Thank you again for thinking of me.

I have been reading the posts, but too overwhelmed to contribute to it.

I am sorry about your loss, and I still miss my grandma. who passed away

Olivia, I am sorry to hear of your loss. While the passing of a loved one is never easy, I am going to share with you what I have told my kids when their grandfather (my dad) passed away this last February...

They will be with you in your heart forever, and they will to continue to live on through you. Therefore, if you want them to be happy and continue to have a good life, so must you so they can enjoy your life with you. And when you are VERY VERY old and it is your time after a full and joyous life...you will be together again. Until then, when you miss them a lot, whisper to them as you shut your eyes to go to sleep and ask them to visit you in your dreams that night. By morning, you’ll remember their special hug upon you.

I am glad to hear your are doing well and allowing your grandmother to continue to smile along with you. Be proud of yourself for that…This is how you honor her… LFW
