Hi Olivia,

 

I just wanted to let you know that I have been thinking about you. How are things going for you? What type of changes have you noticed with the new meds now? Are your moods and sleep schedule getting any better?

 

I have too many questions! I'm just really concerned about you.  ((((Hugs))))

Thanks so much for thinking of me.  I was hesitant to respond back, but that won't be nice.

I have not been doing well at all, but I do not want to bore you with all the details.  Plus it's a little complicated.  But I am hanging in there, never the less.  Thanks again, and hugs to you too.

That's okay about not wanting to go there. I suspected that when I didn't get a sooner response from you and that's why I posted again to just let you know that I was thinking of you and wanted to send you some hugs.

 

I'm sending more hugs your way, and I don't expect to hear from you. I just want you to know that you will continue to be in my thoughts, and that I hope this won't last long for you. Take the rest, physically and mentally that you need right now.

Thanks for the hugs, it has brought a smile on my face. I just have been feeling really rotten lately, and I didn't want to bring in here. I was around some negative people for a while, and that brought my mood down a lot. But it was headed downhill anyway. I do not have a therapist or pdoc at the moment, which makes things worse. And in a few weeks I won't be on meds either, since I will no longer have insurance to cover them. Which sucks, big time. I guess I am really stressed and feeling really depressed right now. I also feel lost and scared about where the future is headed. In the past when I quit my meds, that was all my choice, and this time when I really need them, they are being taken away. How Ironic!

I'm confused a little bit. I thought you were seeing a new pdoc? What happened with that? Olivia, you need your meds. Can't you explain this to your pdoc (new one or old one?)

Pdocs usually have lots of samples to give away. I am sure they can work something out for you during this crisis. Yes it is a crisis and even if that means going back to your old pdoc for a little longer I am sure he would welcome you back. You really need some medical attention right now. Sounds like you really need to get back into some therapy too. I'm so sorry that your insurance ran out on you. I hope somebody comes along with some type of answers to help you in this area. Do you think your mom will be able to help out for awhile or is that a really bad suggestion?

Please keep us update Olivia. We all want to be able to help you get through this difficult, difficult time for you!

That's why I said it was complicated. But I am hanging in there even when things feel like they are falling apart. I am going to try to see a new pdoc and therapist hopefully for the next 6 or so weeks while I have insurance to ask them what to do next. I am just super stressed, with school, work, the new insurance issue, and dealing with depression which I have not felt in over a year, so it feels very new to me. I don't really have support from family and friends, so I feel like I am fighting this fight alone. I will try not to get discouraged about things, and the future still looks bright (who am I kidding). Ok I'll be honest, I have not given up or lost hope yet, so that is a good thing.
