has anyone had any sucess taking this med,how long does it typically take to see any changes?

Hello, I was on Depakote once. It was used as a mood stabilizer for me. It took about 5-7 days I believe to get it fully into my system. We did have to adjust the dosage for a little bit to suit me. I did well on it. The only complaint I had was weight gain.

I have not been on Depakote before because of the weight gain it causes. But aside from that it is one of the first line of deffense against mania. It is a good mood stabilizer.
