metastisized lung cancer from breast please help!!!!

my sister has had breast cancer now it has moved to her lungs she is wondering if anyone can tell her of there experiance with treatments for similar condition armidex did not help she has had one shot of faslodex getting a port in  so she can start chemo can anyone tell me what side effects she may get from faslodex i would like to hear of similar situations and treatments and side effects you have have experienced thanks for all your help may god bless each and everyone of you

sasha, I don't know if anyone connected with the board is on Faslodex or if anyone here can help, so I am suggesting you Google. There is also a Breast Cancer Resource scenter listed under Resources in the yellow column on the right side of the screen. Check that out for information. My daughter has mets to the bone, but no soft tissue. She is on Aredia and Xeloda. There are many new drugs being tried all the time. Drs seem to try different drugs until they find the one that works best with as few side effects as possible. Tell your sister we are thinking of her. Hugs MK

thanks i'll check this out. i've been researchin all day. theres just so much to learn i've been printin alot of stuff cause my memory is not to good because of my crohns but im not gonna give up

Sasha, prayers are being said for your sister. She is very lucky to have such a caring sister. My daughter was the sameway when I was diagnosed. As Mk said,tell her we are thinking of her.

she had her port put in today still not sure when chemo starts but i hope it is soon. i just wish i could be there with her but i have to take care of my dad he's not able to travel but i have printed her some good info that i hope she can use i told her the more informed she is the better treatment she will get from her doctor i know thats how it was for me
