Hubby did it again!!

Oh Bernadette!!! I can't believe this! I think it is time your husband sees a regular doctor and have a good health check up for the reason he breaks bones so easily. Has anyone mentioned this to him? There are several medical reasons that could cause bone breaks, the first of which that comes to me is Celiac Disease. The is a condition that only requires eating a gluten free diet. Wheat products are a no no. My husband was diagnosed a year ago last Feb. He has had symptoms for years and broke several bones over the years, and not as quickly as twice in three months. He was very anemic when they started doing tests. As soon as he quit eating wheat products, his blood went back to normal and he gained weight and looks great now. I recently met a woman who broke both her arms and a leg and then they determined she was a Celiac. She is 61 and was only diagnosed last year. We have two great nephews, little boys, who were recently diagnosed because of other problems not broken bones. But a good complete blood test would be the best way to see if all is well with your husband. Three months off his feet and how long was it before? Gees that is rough. He better get a job he can do sitting or lying down. You take care of yourself, too. Getting over tired and stressed is not helpful

When I saw the subject line here I just couldn't believe what I would read.  That is just horrible.  I better warn my DH, not to repeat, too.  You are right, it never seems to be dull.  And yes, I agree, we don't appreciate them until they aren't there or are layed up.  At least this time you aren't going thru chemo, if that makes you feel any better.  I remember when my DH did the same thing.  It was the hardest time of both our lives.  The thing is, DH hasn't learned his lesson, because he still goes on the roof. 

 

Sorry about your skin cancer spots, too.  My nephew's wife had one removed and it had me worried.  She just had a baby last year. 

 

Well, you take care and tell DH to be careful.  I would check into that celiac disease, too. 

 

I have one more week of freedom and then all he__ breaks lose with school and work!
