Hi,  I had breast cancer in 2005.  It was in very small and in a duct.  I had a lumpectomy and radiation.  I go for a mammogram every 6 months.  I went three days ago and the nurse came out and said they wanted to do an ultra sound.  I didn't like that.  After the ultra sound they said they see two spots in the same breast where I had the cancer and now want biopsies.  I go tomorrow for that.  I am so scared.  I take arimedex and I thought that would keep me from getting breast cancer again.  If it was one spot I could say that maybe it's nothing, but two spots.  I pray I don't have this back again.  Support and prayers would be greatly appreciated.  Arlene

Hi there!!

I had this same situation happen. Did the lumpectomy and radiation in 2003 and in 2007, I found something else.

I remember the first posting I ever did on a website and I was scared! Sometimes I still am!!

Just remember to think as positively as you can. If it does come back cancerous, you can get through that too!

So you had the lumpectomy and radiation again... twice. I'm trying to think positive. Telling myself that this is probably nothing and then 5 minutes later I'm thinking the worse and a nervous wreck. I've been keeping busy to keep my mine off it. My house has never been so clean. Thanks, Arlene

Hi.  I am sorry you are going through this.  I remember how scared I was, too.  I haven't had anything of concern since my treatment, though, thank goodness.  Try to stay positive and don't worry until you know what you are dealing with.  I know - easier said than done.  I will be sending positive thoughts your way.  We are all with you in support.

I just finished my radiatin in July.  Keep good thoughts. I see you take immran and entocort... My list of drugs is similar to yours!  Atho,.. i take tomaxafen. I too have CRohns disease.  Wow....  Seems we share alot!

Good New!!!! I just got results of biopsies. NO CANCER. Thank you so much for your support and prayers.

prof- I see we take alot of the same medicines. How are you doing with the Crohn's disease. I've been on so many meds trying to get this under control. The Imuran alone didn't do it. So the doctor, just last week, suggested going on the one entocort a day. So far so good. I'm glad you're finished with radiation. I went through that and was so happy when it was over. Hope you're having good days.

Hey.. we shoudl really swap email addresses. Don't know anyone else with BOTH CD and BC!

I am suppose to go for my FIRST follow up MRI's and mammograms in OCt. Not looking forward to it. Prior to stsrting radiation, I had another mammogram and they found 2 more spots they now want to 'watch". Hate that word. Also have to have an MRI of the right breast. Prior to surgery, had found a spot on the right breast and had a biospy. And.. they also found a spot on my femur they are watching. So... NOT looking forward to October. I am a BAD patient and have to admit, have already pushed the dates back.

How long have you had CD?? I have been sick for 13 years. On entocort EVERYDAY and 6mp. Alsong with a host of other meds! oudl love to chat.. don't know how
