Today we got the best news!!

Carolyn had a bone marrow test the day before Thanksgiving and they called her today to tell her there was no evidence of cancer in her bone marrow!!!! Her onc told her the combination of chemos was doing some miraculous things, and evidently it worked a miracle for her, too.  She sees the onc tomorrow to find out what he is planning for her now.  We were all speechless at this news. 

Now if only Chris has good news when she sees the GYN onc.  We are pretty sure they will do a hysterectomy, but then we will have to wait more for pathology.

MK, I was so happy to see this. What wonderful news. Please know that Vic and I are so happy for you and your family. It is so nice to see some good news. Little happy dancing here for Carolyn. What a wonderful start for the day to read this.

Thanks friends, I am still speechless. I called a lot of relatives last night to let them know. I will ask her today the names of the chemos so I can post them again. Now I am going to have a happy relaxing day. Hugs MK

Hi Shyone! I hope you get good news from your bone marrow test on Monday, too. The test itself is not pleasant to go through, so let's hope you will not have to endure another one. You didn't say what the dr was looking for. Do you have breast cancer or are they looking for something else?
