Cathi

Hi, I called her daughter because I could not get an answer on her room phone. Turns out that she has been given a new room. She called and told me how wonderful her new room is. She has a beautiful, much larger room with a view of the water and also a garden. I have talked her head off about Vic and his birds over the years and she was really getting into it when she got so sick again. I was pleasantly surprised to hear her brother thoughtfully supplied her with a bird feeder and a bird book. I feel so stupid. I have no idea why I never thought to send it when she told me she had a garden. She and I were talking about her using the walker, to be on the safe side. The last thing she needs is another broken bone. She is a popular lady and I am so happy that she is usually having company and chatter in the room when I call. Her sister has been going back and forth from the Carolinas and both of her brothers and her daughters and cousins and her friends have been terrific. Thanks so much for asking.

Thanks for the update, Joyce. I don't get over here very often any more, but think of Cathi often. Glad she is in a good place. Sounds like a great facility. We have a residental hospice not far from where we live. It too is situated on a lake so people have a veiw of the water and wildlife. Give her my best, too. Hugs and love, Lauri

I've been thinking so much about Cathi.  Joyce would it be possible for me to have her new phone number?  She and I used to chat quite often while I was on my drives home from work.

 

Would love to be able to talk to her again, if possible.  If not, please let her know I am thinking of her and have her in my prayers.
