Hospice will be helping me now.

Our family doctor and the oncologist talked after input from the Home Health Nurse and decided it was time.  The onc called the morning while the nurse was here and we all talked that he had not improved any with chemo and last week's Taxol about did him in, so no more treatment.  He is very confused this morning and back in the Navy.  The Navy owns our house is what he is saying now.  Oh dear.

Chris is on her way back.  Carolyn and Chuck took the news hard when I told them.  It is very sad, but it is part of life.

MK, I am so sorry to read you latest post.  My heart breaks for all that you are dealing with.  I'm sending gentle hugs and lots of prayers in your direction.  Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.  I have missed my sisters here, even though I am not posting much, I check in from time to time and will never forget all the friendships I have made here.

Oh, MK, I am so sorry to hear this. It is so hard to see someone you love go downhill so fast, and to have cancer strike so many of your loved ones... well, I know how hard that is. Please know that you are being held close in my thoughts.

Oh, MK, I am so sorry that things have taken this turn. I can't imagine how difficult the decisions must be at this time. I remember my Dad as his life ebbed and it was so sad to see him failing knowing there was nothing we could do. Know that the love and support of many surrounds you now and in the coming days and weeks. Sending big hugs, Lauri
