Oh Shelley- can't they ever let you relax?
Well my cancer was described on the mammo report as "suspicious finding surrounded by a constellation of MICRO- calcifications" . The fact that they were Micro made them want to look more. So maybe calcifications is not the bad one. I am praying you got the GOOD kind!
If you never had a biopsy done that way before it really isn't that bad at all especially after everything you have been through! They give you a shot of lidocaine and they put the sono thing on you and then stick the needle in and draw out the tissue. They might have to do it a couple of times to make sure they got a big enough sample. Then they give you an ice pack and you can go home.
You might want to drive over with an ice pack on the spot they are going to biopsy. That way you will be good and numb and won't even feel the lidocaine needle.
I will be on the PCE and I am praying real hard tonight for you too!
Love,
Jessie
