Haven't been around much in a while and decided I couldn't go to bed tonight without saying hi.  So sad to read about Carla.  Can't catch up on everyone right now.

2 weeks ago I ran fevers and could only get the methotrexate.  Last week I had a stomach bug (YUCK) and couldn't get any chemo, so hopefully this week off will help me get back to full strength.

My mother's patio home has sold and we close Dec. 15 so DH and I will be working on that a good deal.

Angela has been wonderful :-)  Taking me all over town... today we went to church together.  

Tomorrow is DD's Thanksgiving feast at school.  Think I might wear a surgical mask so I don't pick up any germs!  Although the onc says my counts are ok.

Love to all and thanks again for the cards. I really appreciate them.

Hey you, I was just thinking about you....thanks for checking in! Sounds like things are status-quo, which is a good thing.

Becky, So happy to see this post. Hopefully, you're feeling much better and things will go as planned. A Thanksgiving Feast, huh, I'd wear an entire head helmet to keep those pesky germs at bay. Hi lady, Yes I was just thinking of you also. So glad to hear from you. Sounds like you are up and about. Can I ask what is probably a dumb question? What is a patio house? I have never heard that before. Please do not tell me its a house with a patio. I can just see people falling off their chairs howling at yet again another ooops of mine. Is there something more to this, that qualifies it as a patio house? You have me interested. Anyway glad to see you getting around, sending love and hugs. Joyce

Hi Beck,
I'm glad you are feeling better and just in time for Thanksgiving. I hope you and your family have a wonderful day and a good time at the school feast too. Yes please wear the mask. After my transplant I always wore one even to the buffet restaurant. I went up to get the food with it on. Probably scared a few people away from the food.

One of my posts disappeared too. Joyce, you are a hoot. A patio home is usually a one floor condo in a retirement community. Most have a screened porch or patio and look out over a golf course or pool. Got it?
