MK, I hope you have heard from Carolyn by now. It was Cheryl, with the pleural effusion. She was a really sweet gal. I had lunch with her when I went back to KC a couple of times before we lost her. She and her husband traveled all over the place! She had a daughter who went to school in Arizona(?). Gosh, we've lost a lot of friends, haven't we. I remember pulling up the pics we had taken in St Louis, about
five years after, and about
1/4 of the group was gone. The cost of this disease... and then, I think about
how lucky we are to have known so many of those women! And they never would have been a part of my life if I hadn't had this disease. I guess that is the silver lining of this black cloud!
Take care. You know we are all thinking of you, and Carolyn and the rest of her family, too.
Love and hugs...
