Hello, dear friends.

I must admit that this has been a rather emotional day.  It's the first anniversary I've celebrated without Peggy Anne.  Oh, how I miss that girl!

Mama and I helped my sister today with her pre-op appointment (Achilles heel) and did chores and errands for her.  It felt good to spend the day with them.

Then I got home feeling kind of pooped and a little down until two of you dear ladies (Thanks, Lib and Cathi) IM'd me.  When this place was called a "support board," this is what they meant!

I just wanted to thank those of you who have been so dear to me for being with me on this 5-year journey.  I love you!

Congrats on hitting the five year mark, my dear Beck. 

That's what this is all about... the support and caring and sharing.  I'm so glad I found these ladies round about the same time you did and that we always have each other. 

Who else could I say so much to without uttering a word?  I love you Miss Beck.  Hugs, Sis

Five years seems to be coming around for lots of this group, and that means about five years with our breast friends in most cases. Congratulations on meeting this five year mark, and may you have five x five more. Lets see will that make you near 75? I hope you stay well and enjoy the years.

I know you miss Peggy. 2004 was a long hard year and it began early by losing Susan in late 2003 along with a couple other friends. I keep thinking of Mel's mother in law and thinking I should call, strange how you miss friends you never saw that often. But I do miss so many of them and their posts.

Jo-Ann is on her way back to Texas tomorrow, please say a prayer for her safe journey.

Happy Anniversay, fellow classmate! My 5 year anniversary from dx was 6 weeks ago, but as you recall, we did chemo at the same time. Five unbelievable years ago.  Who'da thunk it?

Hugs to you for the first one without Peggy....her anniversary of passing should be coming up soon, hard to imagine.  I remember when she came into the lovely hotel in SL, looking so chic with her post-chemo buzz, lymphedema gauntlet and a sharp blazer. She was all that!

Here's to the next 5....

Hi Becky,
Congrats on the five year anniversary, my dear. I'm right behind you in a few days. Hard to believe so much time has gone by. I miss Peggy everyday too. So much has happened in the last year that I wish I could have told her about. I know she's cheering our freshman chemo class for reaching this milestone. It's a great one and I'm grateful for every day of good health that I have. Here's to the next five year anniversary!

Congrats on your 5 year anniversary ! So glad I was able to
help cheer you up a little today...how many times have you
done that for me ?

I miss Peggy so much...I think about her every day...she was
always able to get me laughing when I was down..Jan 28th it
will be 1 yr..I just cant believe it...sigh

Hey Beck,

A big 5 year anniversary hug is in order ({{{{{{{{{HUG}}}}}}}}}. Hope you can feel it. Sorry if I am alittle late on the anni wishes, i didn't get online at all yesterday, was busy babysitting!!!!!!!!

I am sure that Peggy is looking down at you and saying "you go girl!!!!!!". She certainly IS missed by EVERYONE here!

Hope you had a wonderful day and we will be here to celebrate your 10th anni. as well in 5 years!!!!!!!!

Adding my congratulations on your 5 year anniversary, Becky! It is a good place to be. And, I too miss our dear, sweet Peggy a lot these days. There must be one wonderful party going on in heaven these days. I guess the best thing we can do is continue to cheirh all the days we have. Hugs, Lauri

Congrats Becky, Five years is so great. I want to wish you many many more. Thoughts and prayers for your mom. Love ya and Sorry I missed the party. SIL was using my toaster yesterday. We made a trade I got the grandchildren and he used my toaster. Want to wish you the very best. Your a wonderful lady and I am so glad to share this happy news. May we share many many more. L&H Joyce

Happy Anniversary, Becky!

So glad we're here to celebrate with you. I know our angels are celebrating, too. Wow! It doesn't seem like a year since we lost Peggy. I'll light a candle for her on the 28th.

May the rest of us be around to celebrate your 25th with you!
