Call back mammogram Worried

Got a call from the imaging center yesterday to come for more pictures today. I have a dense spot in left breast. After reading posts on this forum I feel better this morning, I was worried sick all night ! It is amazing how your mind takes over with negative thoughts. Will find out today what is going on. Thanks for listening.

They did find something about 1 cm. Will have a biopsy next week to tell what it is. I am OK with it , abit scared , but I can't keep making myself sick with worry. It could be weeks before I find out, and if it is cancer I will have to deal with it. Easier said then done.

Sorry to hear you have to have a biopsy, but hopefully it is benign. 80% of lumps biopsied are benign so those are good odds. I think the waiting is the worst part of all this. My results were back in 2 days, so I hope you don't have to wait weeks.

Hope the biopsy goes well. You are so right, making yourself sick with worry will not accomplish anything. But it is perfectly normal to be scared, none the less. Let us know how things go.

Biopsy went well . I have a large hematoma, but it is doing OK. I just got the results .. benign!

Thanks to you all . It really helps to "talk" to people who understand.
