Jo-Ann Glaze is having surgery again tomorrow.

 Jo-Ann tonight she called me and sounded terribly weak .  She has been moved to Denton Regional Hospital to be treated by a special cardiologist.  ICU Room 21 There is a hole in her sternum from the double radiation which saved her life 14 years ago.  It is preventing the heart surgery from healing, so tomorrow at 1 pm she is to have surgery that sounds like a tram flap kind to cover the hole.  She has had infection and still has all kinds of tubes and lines running around her body.  Denton is halfway between here and where she lives, about 35 miles away, so I am going to try to go see her.  I need Amy to take me so will see what we can work out. She said drs told her to expect to be in the hospital for six weeks. Jodi is supposed to let me know about tomorrow.  i know you will  keep her in  your prayers.  MK

Jodi Bates (Jodi Glaze Bates) Just got home from seeing my mom in hospital. There's nothing that could have prepared me for what I saw. Had to come home and drink a glass of wine. My nerves are shot. I am so truly thankful for my friends and family every day. There's no guarantee we get another one w the ones we love.
Please just keep sending prayers of healing and strength for my mom. It's gonna be a long and tough road.

Tell her we miss her on the board and need to hear from her again soon! Also, give her our love and tell her we're praying for you for healing, for pain free nights, and plenty of rest!!
