I would have no idea. If 80% of all biopsies are benign, I would guess that the stat is fairly high. If the radiologist were not concerned, why would they do a biopsy at all???
At 36, I had two palpable lumps that didn't show on mammogram, and that, to me, is the scary statistic... 30% of cancers are missed on a mammogram. I had two different types of invasive cancer.
Hope your radiologist's concerns are for nothing, dallas. Hugs to you... let us know how your biopsies come out.
