Hi, C-mom. I posted to the other thread before I read this one. So dismiss what I said about "if" this is cancer, since it isn't! Sorry. Anyway, hematomas are not uncommon after surgery, but this one sounds uncommonly large. Have they suggested anything to help??? I've heard two different things.... hot compressions, and cold compressions. I don't know which one is supposed to be better! Check with your doctor to see if he would recommend either.
Has the estrogen helped with your headaches??? If not, then I would ask the doctors about something else. At 43, I don't know... with your family history? I know low doses are not supposed to increase risk, but when you're diagnosed, the first thing they tell you is to stay away from hormones! I'm not a medical professional of any sort, so take my opinion for what it is worth... just a survivor's opinion! LOL (And I'm very good at being opinionated!)
Take care....
Hugs....
