Me too, 6mm oblong lump just 10 days ago. My doctor called me, I haven't received the letter from the hospital, but I called for a diagnostic mamo with a radiologist for Monday. It's going to be a verry long weekend. I asked about getting a biopsy that same day. It was just the receptionist and she said "uuh, no, they need different tools for that". It sounded like an uneducated guess.
With a lump that small you would think the docs could take it out with one of those big bi-opsy needles. Just get it out! anything that shouldn't be there; calcification, cyst whatever! One invasion into my body should do it, as soon as possible. Cut it out, the whole thing and then tell me what it WAS. And by the way, leave the rest of my breast alone. If there's more crap in there, amputate my arm pit, I really won't miss it!
I am 47. I have a 10 year old to raise, even if I have a mountian and a mole hill. I am a D cup and can't find anything.
