Nipple scaling

I had my regular Mammogram 6/21 and got a call back Monday. I have to wait until Fri for my followup for more testing & Rad. consult.

My only change has been an ocassional little scaling on the right nipple. I just noticed this about 2 months ago. Should I be more concerned about this?

Scaling on the nipple can be a symptom of Paget's disease, which is a rare form of breast cancer that affects the skin of the nipple and areola. Of course, it can also be something as simple as a reaction to a new laundry detergent! Hope it's nothing more than that. Let us know how it goes.
